These beautiful traditional Buhera baskets are hand woven from local crops from the Buhera district in Zimbabwe. This region is known for its incredibly rich plant diversity. The baskets were originally used to transport and store grains.
Since the Buhera baskets are individually handmade, there are small variations in size, color and shape, as well as possible woven irregularities. All this gives each basket its unique character!
